Dr. Erika Voss, VP, Engineering & Security Technology Leader, Capital One Erika Voss serves as a Vice President for Capital One Software as the Engineering & Security Technology Leader. As a proven security executive who has been responsible for global enterprise security and compliance programs with cloud-based SaaS organizations, Erika is skilled at translating technology and risk for Boards of Directors, Executive Senior Leadership Teams, and helping build the right security enterprise capabilities for zero trust adoption. Dr. Voss is a globally recognized security and technology leader in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Supply Chain Security, and Maturing Enterprise Security Programs. Erika has served as the chair of the Disaster Health and Preparedness Sub-council of the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council, and currently sits on the Forbes Technology Council and HTCIA organization for High Tech Retail Crimes as 2nd Vice President. An accomplished speaker and author, Dr. Voss has been published in Continuity Insights and Disaster Recovery Journal and has presented at multiple security conferences and cybersecurity forums. She holds professional certifications in resilience, business continuity and homeland security and is a master trainer for FEMA’s national incident management system. She has received multiple awards for Cybersecurity and Diversity & Inclusion Human Rights. Erika has received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Operations and Master of Science in Security Administration from Southwestern College and most recently graduated with her Ph.D. with an emphasis on Insider Threats and Recognizing Early Warning Signs.
