The SecureMaine Conference returned October 8, 2025 -- it was an incredible event full of peers and excellent conversations!
Over 260 security professionals from across Maine, the region, and beyond registered for the 2025 SecureMaine Conference at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland, benefitting from over a dozen presentations and panel sessions covering the latest priorities in information and infrastructure security. At the geographical center of the event was a sponsor pavilion featuring 30+ sponsor and collaborator tables.

The SecureMaine Conference, organized by the 501(c)3 non-profit SecureMaine, was the result of a collaboration between several regional, non-profit professional bodies in the cybersecurity, physical security, and privacy areas. The constituents attending SecureMaine conferences are persons and organizations that seek to improve their organizations' security and privacy protection.  Read more about SecureMaine, the organization, here.
About the SecureMaine Conference
This full day conference covers information security issues as they relate to technology, governance, and architecture, and finishes with a roundtable discussion featuring prominent practitioners in the information, security, and privacy spheres (CISO/CIO/CIPOs). The SecureMaine Conference content includes both cybersecurity and physical security.

Agenda Goals & Highlights:
  • Technical and Practice
  • Policy, Governance, Privacy, & Compliance
  • Key CIO / CISO Roundtable

Constituents attending this event included individuals and organizations looking to improve their cybersecurity, physical security, and privacy protection. Attendees are acme from throughout New England, mostly from Maine and nearby states.

The SecureMaine conference evolved from a collaboration between five inaugural non-profit professional bodies investing their time and resources in the importance of this event to their members in Maine and nearby states. The event satisfies 8 continuing education credits (CEUs) for related topics. Collaborators are invited back each year to re-invest in this mutual endeavor.

The conference provided lunch, breakfast and afternoon refreshment, and parking, which are all included in the attendance fee/donation. Thanks to our volunteers, collaborator resources, and generous sponsors, Advance Attendee pass rate in 2025 was just $40 (and less for students and veterans/military/first responders.

SecureMaine is grateful for our Sponsors who help us offer this event for a modest attendance fee! Check out our complete list of 2025 SecureMaine Sponsors page and click to learn more about them!
